He is survived by: his wife Nancy Wittenburg (Orwick); his children, Preston Michael Wittenburg (Amy) and Sarah Michele Wittenburg; his grandson Nolan Michael Wittenburg; his siblings, Paula Sage (Gary), Mary Anna Beard (Jesse) and James Mark Wittenburg (Janna); his uncles, William "Bill" (Joyce Wittenburg) and Dan; his aunt Mary Lou (Richard Parmer); his stepchildren, Cassie Jones (Herron), Courtney Herron and Tyler Herron; his brothers-in-law, Gary Sage and Jesse Beard; his nephews, Scott Sage, Jared Beard and Greg Wittenburg; his friend Mike Carroll; and his uncles, Robert Wittenburg (Deborah Wittenburg) and Richard Parmer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a close circle of cousins.
