She was predeceased by: her parents, Benny Brown and Gladys Brown (Stinnett); and her sister Maxine Brown Moore. She is survived by: her children, Heath Phillips (Tonya) of Lampasas, Corey Phillips (Paula) of Kingsland, Samantha Phillips of Cedar Park and Courtney Vaughan (Adam) of Lewisville; her brothers, Bobby, Lester, Gary and Ty Brown; and her grandchildren, Jaden Phillips, Callie Phillips, Lexy Wangler, Adam Vaughan, Jr. and Alison Vaughan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
