Payne of Lampasas, Texas, born in Lometa, Texas, who passed away on April 24, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, K. L. Lindsey and Pearl Lindsey (Walker). She is survived by: her husband Rodger E. Payne; her children, Ronald Payne (Emma), Russell Payne (Cheryl), James Payne (Suikey), April Neely (Wilson) and Kathryn Payne; and her sister Beatrice Templeton. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
