Virginia Gail Callahan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Gail Callahan (Lampasas, Texas), who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Means and Virga Hope Millican (Baxter); her husband Don Callahan; and her brother-in-law George Strouhal. She is survived by: her siblings, Carol Jean Strouhal of Friendswood and Pat Millican (Bonnie) of Bend; her nephews, Paul Strouhal (Sharon) of Midland and Dr. Geoffrey Millican (Lindsay) of San Antonio; her niece Jennifer McAninch (Douglas) of Friendswood; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brian Strouhal, Sam Strouhal (Hattie), Henry, Jack Millican, Emily Putman (Shawn) and Mae McAninch; and also, Holt, JW Putman, Annabell, Mary Caroline Strouhal and Maizie Jean Putman.
A burial will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bend Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bend United Methodist Church (14130 Farm to Market 580, Bend, TX 76824).
