She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Menefee and Annie Menefee (Bennett); her husband Charles Newton; her daughter Melissa Jordan; and her great grandchild Kenley Cattles.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra Cattles (Kenneth, Sr.); her grandchildren, Keri Roseberry (Warren), Kenneth Cattles, Jr. (Bonnie), Trisa Pugh, Tracey Pugh and Colton Jordan (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Kate Roseberry, Ella Roseberry, Barrett Cattles, Blake Cattles, Genie Morgan, Melissa Morgan and Mackenzie Jordan; her great great grandchild Elara Hill; her brother Dee Menefee; and her son-in-law Lee Jordan.
