She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Machen and Lottie Wheelus Machen; her son Charles Alexander; her granddaughter Tamara Bradley; and her siblings, Elton Machen, Jr. and Margaret Machen.
She is survived by: her husband Robert G. Edwards of Lampasas; her children, Greg Edwards (Kim) of Ridgecrest, Barry Edwards (Wanda) of Ridgecrest, Sandra Bradley (Gerald) of Lampasas, Vickie Clark (Russell) of Lampasas, Kim Smith (Carter) of Wimberley, Misty Kirkpatrick (Travis) of Liberty Hill and Lisa Edwards (Bill Meyer) of Ventura; her sister Martha Crownover of Lewisville, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Shera, LeAnn, Jaclyn, Garrett, Wesley, Haley, Jacey, Cal, Tanner, Levi, Crystal, Jessica, Blake and Katherine.
