He was predeceased by: his parents, Dionisio Leonardo and Eleuteria Leonardo; and his wife Joy Leonardo. He is survived by: his children, Guia, Paul and Joyce; his sons-in-law, Scott and Brian; his grandchildren, Kirsten, Charlotte, Luke of Ellyse, JP, Ethan and Kenzie; and his pets, Lulu, Soju, Bobby and Luna.
