He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Ellis and Vera Curry Ellis; and his siblings, James Ellis and Marie Moore Hoffman. He is survived by: his wife Ann of Lampasas; his children, Karen Turner (Abel) of Lampasas, Bridget Chapman of Lewisville, Texas, Myron (JoBeth) of Joplin, Russell (Gloria) of Lampasas and Gary (Debbie) of Myrtle Beach; his grandchildren, Katy Ann Turner, Janie Tuner, Alexandra Chapman, Ashley Chapman, Marty Ellis, Natasha Ellis, Kayme Steele, Chelsi Leggett, Jeremy Ellis, Tammy Ellis, Wendy Ellis, Dustin Ellis, Wesley Ellis and April Ellis; and his great grandchildren, Kylan Leggett, Kagan Leggett, Maverick Steele and Onyx Steele. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to their charity of choice in Morris' name.
