She was predeceased by: her mother Hortencia Garcia; and her daughter Ruth Ponce. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Escobar (Alberto), Christina Ponce and David Ponce (Dulce); her sister Santa Morgan; her grandchildren, Aimee, Andrea, Ruth, Brissia, Rosa, Desiree, Humberto, Sebastian and Yara; and her great grandchildren, Jonah, Lyra, Anais, Elena and Liliana.
