He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Hargrove (C. W.) and Jack P. Johnson; his father-in-law Hilario Maceyra; and his siblings-in-law, Frances Castruita Maceyra, Anita Maceyra, Guadalupe Bocanegra and Pete Maceyra.
He is survived by: his wife Eugenia Johnson (Jeanie) of Lampasas; his brothers-in-law, Bill and Manuel Maceyra of Lampasas; his children, Tina Barker Maceyra of Fort Worth, Robert of Dallas and Marc B. of Garland; his grandsons, Tyler and Bredt of Dallas; his great grandchild Leland of Dallas; and his sister Jan of Plano. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
