She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bates and Myrtle Lee Bates; and her sister Inez Archer of Novice, TX.. She is survived by: her significant other Daryl Strelow; and her children, Doylene (Jimmy Hopson), Dewey Archie (Luann Renner), Lana Davidson (Justin Rhyne) and Audrey (Bear). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
