He is survived by: his wife Rita LaVelle Mills of Lampasas; his children, Rebecca (Bryan Oaks) of Lampasas and Timothy Mills of Portland, Oregon; his brother Jimmy (Susan Mills) of Bellevue, Washington; his grandchildren, Ethan Oakes, Hadassah Mills and Jude Mills; his niece Jennifer Mills; and his nephew Wade Mills.
