It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Votruba (Lampasas, Texas), born in Elkton, Maryland, who passed away on March 9, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mervin J. Bench and Eva P. Bench (Gorman); and her brother Butch Bench. She is survived by: her son Marvin Votruba Jr. Lacy Perez (Jesus); her grandchildren, Connor, Nando, Tara, Camila Perez, Zachary and Alexa Votruba; and her siblings, Eva Heighter, Mary Jane Geist, Diane Kepler (Jeff), Linda Porter, Debbie Riley, Karen Smith (Gene), Brandy Powell, Danny Bench (Judy), Kenneth Bench (Jennifer) and Carl D. Bench. She is also survived by 13 nieces, 16 nephews, 20 great-nieces and 4 great-nephews.
