We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joann Irene Morgan (Lampasas, Texas), born in Tahoka, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James King Smedley and Ethel Ophelia Smedley (Jones); her husband J. C. Morgan; her sisters, Syble Nelson, Jean Szydlik and Dorothy Taylor; her granddaughter Kassie Baker; and her great grandchild Mason Baker.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Baker (Vernon); her sister-in-law Dessie Smedley; her granddaughters, Jennifer Harris (JP) and Jessica Fincher (Justin); and her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Kadi-ann Harris, Kaelie and Radley Fincher. She is also survived by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Texas State Floral Association Endowment Fund, in memory of her granddaughter, Kassie Baker.
