It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jarvis R. Carlile in Lampasas, Texas, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Carlile and Willie Faught Carlile; his brother Lewis Carlile, Jr.; and his in-laws, Ben and Aline Long.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Long; his children, David (Darlene), Nina Mickan (Gordon) and Jimmy (David); and his grandchildren, Matt (Belen), John (Courtney), Britt (Jennifer), Clint, Danielle and Brooks (Jon). He is also survived by his 8 great-grandchildren.
Flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions can be made to First Baptist Church Lampasas.
