He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Noble and Odessa Daniel Yancy; his wife Billie Ruth; and his siblings, Daniel Yancy, Sherwood Yancy and Deloyce Curry.
He is survived by: his children, David Yancy (Sally) and Dana Smith (Mark); and his grandchildren, Sawyer Smith (Marisa), Caul Smith (Abbie) and Quint Smith.
