He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joel Garrett and Jamie Alene Traweek Garrett; his son Scott Garrett; and his sister Patsy Jordan of Lampasas. He is survived by: his wife Carol Garrett; his granddaughter Sydney Garrett of California; his stepchildren, Sheila Cowan of Burnet County and George Cowan of Merced; and his brother James Garrett of New Braunsfels.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cauble Cemetery (3639 County Rd 206, Lampasas, TX 76550).
