It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Faydell Vann of Lampasas, Texas, born in Fort Sam Houston, Texas, who passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jodie M. Smith and Thelma F. Smith (Binnion); her husband W. Lee Vann; her stepfather W. T. Vogel; her siblings-in-law, John I. Vann, Vaughn Vann, Lynn Vann, Dale Vann, Louis Hill, Joan Vann and Fannie Hill; and her great grandchild Claire Evelyn Phillips.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Vann (Melody) of Decatur, Joe Vann (Amy) of Burnet and Judy Hail (Mike) of Lampasas; her sister Thelma Jo Bays; her siblings-in-law, Gerald, Lynette Vann of Evant and Marianne Scarborough of Lakeway; her grandchildren, Miles Vann (Lyndsey), Vandi Nuckles (Jared), Kirby Phillips (Clay), Kleg Kennedy, Ellett Vann (Lyndsi), Jonathan Hail (Kathryn) and Jake Hail (Chandler); and her great grandchildren, Logan Vann, Robby Vann, Faylee Nuckles, Elsie Jo Nuckles, Emmalen Phillips, Jayden Hail, Colton Hail, Jackson Hail and Henry Hail. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in her honor to Lampasas County Youth Livestock Show's Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship Fund, 704 N. 7th Street, Lometa, Texas 76853.
