He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Eriberta, Antinastio Bocanegra, Jimmy and Bobby Turner. He is survived by: his father Ray Bocanegra (Turner); his wife Megan Blair; his son Cohutta of Lampasas, Texas; his brother Bronson Rogers; his niece MaKenna Rogers; his brother Brodi Bocanegra (Amanda); his niece Kashley Bocanegra; and his nephews, Riggin of Lampasas and Rhett Bocanegra of Lampasas.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sneed - Carnley Funeral Chapel (201 E 3rd St, Lampasas, TX 76550). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Community Church (1601 Fourth St, Lampasas, TX 76550).
During tragic times, Cody would donate resources to those in need as he did in 2017 after three fires broke out and burned over 400, 000 acres in the Texas panhandle, and again several months later when Hurricane Harvey hit the Texas coast.
