She was predeceased by: her parent Lupe Lopez; her son Frank Salazar, Jr.; and her siblings, Esteban Lopez, Lupe Lopez and Angelina Lopez.

She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Garza and Brenda Salazar; and her siblings, Louis Lopez and Carmen Castaneda. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
