With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bonilee Key Garrett of Lampasas, Texas, who passed away on May 16, 2022 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Newton Key and Billie Nuckles Key; her husband Gavin Raiford Garrett; her son David Key Garrett; and her brother Newton Key.
She is survived by: her children, Gavin Robert Garrett of Fort Worth, Julia Heinrichs of San Antonio, Maurine Hill (Steven) of Slaton and Janie Everhart of San Antonio; her daughter-in-law Kim Garrett (Early Denison) of Lampasas; her nephew Newton E. Key (Dagni) of Charleston, IL; her great-niece Jenny R. Key of New Orleans; her friends, Mona Krempin of Lampasas and Ramona Hernandez of Lampasas; and her caregivers, Eunice Aguirre, Tori Conway, Brenda Gumbert, Gaynor Keprta, Jennifer Rodriguez and Josse Uvalle. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.
