He was predeceased by: his parents, Celestine Brown and Alton Wilson (Vallry Batiste). He is survived by: his children, Alton Batiste, Jr., Melvin Batiste, Britani Palmer Porter and Demetrius Bush; his siblings, Delilah Milton, Kimmie Milton and Cornell Batiste; and his granddaughters, Serenity and Xoe Batiste. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sneed - Carnley Funeral Chapel (201 E 3rd St, Lampasas, TX 76550). A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (11463 TX-195, Killeen, TX 76542).
