It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilbur Albert Heins of Lamesa, Texas, born in Platte Center, Nebraska, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Heins and Helena Heins (Muth); and his siblings, Elmer, Roland Heins, Annetta Jahoness, Ruth Siebler, Dolores Jones, Agnes Wozny and Verla Siebler.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Heins; his son Dwight Heins (Debbie) of Lamesa; his grandchildren, Andria Neal of Lubbock, Stacy McGee of Lamesa and Jason McGee of Lamesa; his daughter Kristi (David Zeck); his grandchildren, Josi and Maggi of Australia; his daughter Karla Heins of Lamesa; his grandsons, Anthony Todd of Lamesa, Michael, James Todd of Lubbock and Fredrick Heins of Lubbock; and his sister Linda Nissen of Lincoln, Nebraska. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.
