With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susie Garcia of Lamesa, Texas, born in Lockhart, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Prospero Balandran and Enes Balandran (Alvarez); her former husband Trinidad Medrano; her husband Francisco Garcia; her siblings, Enes Balandran, Refugia Mendez, Francisca Palacios, Victoria Balandran, Margarita Navarro and Fermana Coy; and her grandchildren, Donell Cardona, Ricardo Cardona, Marcia Zapata and Brandon Barger.
She is survived by: her children, Sisto Medrano (Maria) of Midland, Dominga Cardona of Lamesa, Juanita Zapata of Lamesa, Elisa Vasquez-Edwards of Lamesa and Sophia Gomez of Odessa. She is also survived by great great-grandchildren, and five great-great-great grandchildren.
