She was predeceased by: her parents, Van Bernice "Bunk" Smith and Geneva Adell Smith (Emfinger). She is survived by: her children, Russell Flippin (Rosie) of Fort Worth and Gina Flippin Hancock (Monty) of O'Donnell; her siblings, Donna Kay Norris and Clinton "Bud" Smith of Lamesa; her grandchildren, Trenton Hancock (Brittany), Tanner Hancock (Taylor), Allison Hancock Balague (Trevor), Karsten Flippin and Raquel Flippin; and her great grandchildren, Hadlee Hancock, Hall Hancock, Beckham Hancock, Blayke Hancock and Slate Balague.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hancock Cemetery (1925 FM178, Lamesa, TX 79331).
