He was predeceased by: his former wife Vernell Hankins; his sons, Ronald Gene Hankins and Darren Lee Hankins; and his siblings, Lillie Melton, Robert Jr. Hankins and James Ray Hankins.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda J. Hankins of Lubbock, TX; his children, Don W. Hankins (Tonya) of Carnegie, OK, Tommy Blackburn of Albuquerque, NM and Jeri Coin (Lynx) of Strasburg, CO; his grandchildren, Hoimaha Coin (Josie Smith) of Stigler, OK, Brittany Hankins (Greg McAlister) of Big Spring, TX and Kayla Ballew (Michael); his great grandchildren, Shayla Buchkowski (Aaron) of Stephans Point, WI, Ella Ballew and Grant Ballew of Eldorado, TX; his great great grandchild Emma Buchkowski; and his sister Theda Wise (Bill) of Yukon, OK. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
