She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Davis and Annie Davis; her husband R. E. Hill; her son-in-law Doyce Vandivere; and her siblings, Wayne Davis, Alfred Davis, Myrtle Jeffcoat and Billie Ruth James.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Hill (Sue Decoto) of Yakima, Cindy Hill (Danny Simpson) of Lubbock, Susan Vandivere of Lamesa and Nick Hill (Maribel) of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Branon Funeral Home (403 N Austin Ave, Lamesa, TX 79331). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (1705 N Bryan Ave, Lamesa, TX 79331).
