He was predeceased by: his children, Leo Villegas and Christina Cortez; his parents, Leopoldo Villegas and Casimira Villegas; and his siblings, Cornelio Villegas, Guadalupe Sanchez, Basilio Villegas, Maryann Villegas, Manuela Zamora, Olivia Garza, Josefa Gutierrez, Eloisa Vara and Maria Baiz.
He is survived by: his wife Silvia Garcia Gurrola; his children, Johnny Villegas (Elisa) of Lamesa, TX., Moses Cortez of Lamesa, TX., Able Portillo of Crosbyton, TX., Chris Garcia of Lubbock, TX., Rosalinda Morales (Joe) of Lamesa, TX., Estella Guerra (Johnny) of Lamesa, TX. and Maryann Guerra (Robert) of Lamesa, TX.; his brother Juan Villegas of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and his former wife Rosa Villagas of Lamesa, TX.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; numerous relatives, and friends.
