He was predeceased by: his parents, Joshua Burton Coleman and Claudia Minter Coleman; his stepmother Gladys Coleman; and his siblings, Joyce Fulfur, Minnie Joe Ray and Billy Wayne Coleman.

He is survived by: his wife Floy Lee Coleman; his children, Deborah Lynn Coleman Rials of Austin and Terry Wayne Coleman (Risa) of Lamesa; his grandchildren, Bobby Rials (Dawn) of Austin, Bralie Hendon (Brent From Welch), Brenay Kimbrough (Kirby) of Lamesa and Kelton Coleman (Kristen From Wellman); his great grandchildren, Lisa, Robert, Jeremy, Tommy, Payzli, Graham, Chloe, Kross, Krey, Jerzye, Kallyn, Collier and Kenzlyn; his great great grandchildren, Jayden and Keegan; his caregivers, Chris, Rosa, Laura and Natalie; and also Maxine Hartley.

A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Dawson County Cemetery (1010 County Rd 20, Lamesa, TX 79331). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (801 S 1st St, Lamesa, TX 79331).
