She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfredo Gamez and Isabel Gamez; her daughter Gloria Balderas of Lamesa, TX.; her siblings, Alfredo Gamez, Jr., Esther Villarreal Gamez and Yolanda Gamez; her nephew Jeremy Reyna; her great-nephew Stevie Rodriguez; and her great-niece Mia Bierra.
She is survived by: her husband Manuel Chavira of Lamesa, TX.; her daughters, Irene Chavira of Lubbock, TX., Immelda Compean of Lamesa, TX., Iris Valles of Sublette and Ester; and her siblings, Santos Gamez of Brownfield, TX., Larry Gamez of Lamesa, TX., George Gamez of Brownfield, TX., David Gamez of Brownfield, TX., Manuel Gamez of Brownfield, TX., Gilbert Gamez of Lubbock, TX., Lee Gamez of Brownfield, TX., Dora Campos of Brownfield, TX., Julia Gamez of Lamesa, TX., Maria Chavez of Lamesa, TX. and Virginia Rodriguez of Brownfield, TX.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; numerous relatives and friends.
