She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gay and Della Lay Wade; her husband Norman Phillips; and her siblings, Gaynelle Wade Drum of Richmond, VA, Myrle Wade Mitchell of Lamesa and Walter Lee Wade of Lamesa.
She is survived by: her children, Martin "Marty" Wade Phillips of Midland and Dawnelle Doughtie (Venton "Lee") of Austin; her grandchildren, Casey Wade Phillips of Waxahachie, Alisha "Ali" Linnea Smith (Ryan Mark) of Mansfield, Elizabeth Wynn Doughtie of Austin, Phillip Levy Doughtie of Austin and William "Wynn" Doughtie of Dallas; her great grandchildren, Braxton Ryan Smith of Mansfield and Ella Kate Smith of Mansfield; and her sister Iris Wade of Houston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
