David Cavazos Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Cavazos Jr. of Lamesa, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 21, 2025 at the age of 44. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Jacqueline Conde; and his grandparents, Ben, Fannie Cavazos, Raymond and Pauline Delgado.
He is survived by: his children, David B. Cavazos III of Lubbock, TX. and Jacqueline Cavazos (Jackie) of Lamesa, TX.; his parents, Ernestina Cavazos (Larry Morales) and David Cavazos, Sr. of Lamesa, TX.; his siblings, Jennifer Cavazos (Julian Vasquez) of O'Donnell, TX., Mandie Lemon (Brian Lemon) of Lamesa, TX., Robert Cavazos (Andrea Cavazos) of Midland, TX. and Ben Cavazos of Lamesa, TX.; and his grandson Damon Cavazos of Lamesa, TX.. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Gonzales Funeral Home (310 S Main Ave, Lamesa, TX 79331). A rosary will be held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel (310 S Main Ave, Lamesa, TX 79331). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Culture (1013 N 2nd St, Lamesa, TX 79331).
