He was predeceased by: his parents, Rene Sturgeon and Ageda Sturgeon (Moreno); and his wife Sylvia Sturgeon. He is survived by: his children, Bruce Sturgeon, Jr. of Portland, Veronica Ramirez of Taft, Cynthia Coronado of Taft and Randy Justin Sturgeon of Denver City; and his siblings, Eva Carranza (Angel Morales) of Palm Bay, Kay Castillo (Lazaro) of Lamesa, Mary Ann Garcia of Houston, Guillermo Sturgeon of Lamesa, Jimmy Sturgeon of Odessa and William Sturgeon of Odessa. He is also survived by his family and friends.
