He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvis Harper and Ila Newsom (Webster); and his brother Bennie Glenn Newsom. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Newsom of Lamesa; and his children, Craig Cornett (Jan) of Brownfield, Keith Charles Cason (Cindi) of Ft. Worth, Lila Denise Furtado of Midland and Steven Glenn Newsom of Lamesa. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
