As Benson Edgar departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Benson Edgar may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Benson Edgar leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his wife Nedra Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Tory Doherty (Greg) of Granbury, Chris McCulloch (Celeste) of Lamesa, Penny Boss (Bud) of Blanco and Sherry Willborn (Barney) of Stratford; and his brother Bill McCulloch (Katie) of Albuquerque. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (801 S 1st St, Lamesa, TX 79331).
