It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Reyes Vasquez of Lamesa, Texas, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Simon T. Vasquez; her children, Roselinda, Cindy and Sandy; her grandchildren, Kathy Vasquez Flores and Joe Vasquez, Jr.; her parents, Lorenzo Reyes and Virginia Reyes; and her siblings, Maria Molina, Eva Ramirez, Oralia Garcia and Guillermo Reyes.
She is survived by: her children, Joe R. Vasquez (Candy) of Midland, Carlos Vasquez (Cruz) of Midland, Simon Vasquez, Jr. (Irene) of Ballinger, Arturo Vasquez of Lamesa, Texas, Rosemary Rodriquez (Jesse) of Midland, Diana Vasquez of Lamesa, Joann Vasquez of Lamesa and Rachel Vasquez of Big Spring, Texas; and her siblings-in-law, Sele Vasquez, David Vasquez (Gloria) and Rebecca Romero (Jimmy). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; several relatives and friends.
