She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Smelser (Harry A. Erickson) and Knox Gillett; and her grandparents, J. R. Smelser and Exa Texannna Matsler of Cherokee Texas. She is survived by: her stepdaughter Peggy; her daughter Kathryn Hein Lewis; her son-in-law Peter Lewis; her grandchildren, Nicholas Lewis and Laura Cramer Worrel (Ethan); and her great grandchildren, Sammy and Eva.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Luke's on the Lake Episcopal Church (5600 Ranch Rd 620 N, Austin, TX 78732).
