She is survived by: her husband Joe Shaffer; her daughters, Sherilyn Underwood (Craig) and Sharla Campbell (John); her grandchildren, Derek Underwood (Carol) of Frost Creek, Jerry A. Smith III (Angela) of Austin and Elissa Helling (Matt) of New Orleans; her great grandchildren, Jerry A. Smith IV, Joseph Helling, George Helling and Russell Helling; and also, Stone, Eglan Binford and Shaffer.
