He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur A. Ray and Gertrude C. Ray; his siblings, George Abbot and Grace Abbott Miller; his niece Kimberly Miller; and his great-nephew Daniel Ray.

He is survived by: his wife Colleen Ray; his son Kenny Jr. (Jessica) of Normangee, TX; his grandsons, Austin Ray (Lauren) of Kyle, TX and Kyle Ray of Normangee, TX; his brother Gary Ray of Austin, TX; and his niece Beverly Miller of Austin, TX.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home (411 Ranch Rd 620 S, Lakeway, TX 78734).
