It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Strother Burke (Lakeway, Texas), born in Tyler, Texas, who passed away on June 14, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Lynne Lowry Burke; his brother John Malcolm Burke; and his parents, John Moore Burke, Jr. and Elena Tyng Burke. He is survived by: his children, Fred Burke (Matthew Pavesic) and Kathryn Burke McWilliams (Scott); his granddaughter Chloe McWilliams; and his brother David Burke.
