He was predeceased by: his parents, Rossie Dykes and George Dale Dykes, Sr.; his brother Edward; his daughter Connie; and his grandsons, Sammy Pace and Dean Steger.
He is survived by: his wife Betsey; his children, Becky (Don Kuykendall), Dale (Lesa) and George Taylor (Candy); his grandchildren, Krista Dorn, Robin Steger, Bill Dykes and Ryan Dykes; and his nieces, Tess Sutton and Leslie Bradley. He is also survived by wives, 5 great grandchildren, 2 great, great grandchildren.
