It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Branton Beckley (Lakeway, Texas), born in Blanco, Texas, who passed away on March 18, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Beckley and Inez Beckley; his wife Gail; his stepson Ryan Mathews (Un) of Austin; and his brother Robert Beckley (Valerie) of Johnson City.

“I am so saddened to hear of Doug's passing. Doug and I were like brothers from about 1962 until the early 1980's. He was a groomsman in my wedding which took place in El Paso, TX 1968, was my oldest daughter Lesley's God Father, born in 1972. We deer hunted and fished together for many years and he was the best guy in the world, would have loved for him to be my real brother. We lost contact after he retired and I didn't know much about his live after that. Love you Douglas Beckley RIP!”
