With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dave Sloan (Lakeway, Texas), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on April 23, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Dave departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Dave may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Dave leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Henry "Paddlefoot" and Geraldine Sloan. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Marqués Sloan; his daughters, Christina "Nina" Sloan Robbins (Colby) and Jessica Sloan; his granddaughter Mia Robbins; and his sisters, Nancy Wenzel and Julie Sullivan.
