He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Nichols Mooney and Joseph T. Mooney; and his sisters, Janet Harper and Doris McDougall. He is survived by: his wife Sue McConnell Mooney; his brothers, Richard Mooney and Roy Mooney; his children, Shanna Wilke (Chad) and William A. Mooney Jr. (Kimberly); his siblings, Avis Christoff, J. T. Mooney (Jeanette) and Terry Mooney; and his grandchildren, Carson Wilke, Peyton Mooney, Presli Mooney and Sullivan Wilke. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and other loving extended family members and treasured friends.
Memorials may be given to Alamo Hospice or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
