She was predeceased by: her parents, Virtus David and Mary Armstrong (Smith) of Virginia; her husband Franklin Delaine Nix (Cotton); and her brother Royce Armstrong. She is survived by: her sister Jean Flanagan; and her sons, David Nix (Nancy) and Mickey Nix (Lorene). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family has requested that memorials be made to the Cooke County United Way.
