It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Maddox of Lake Kiowa, Texas, born in Wilson, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Maddox and Verba Maddox (Broughton); and his son-in-law Ron Lamb. He is survived by: his wife Ella Ruth Kennedy of Gainesville; his children, Monica Sue Lamb of Gainesville, Texas, Marcus David Maddox (Mary Katherine) and Michael Jay Maddox of Carrollton, Texas; his grandchildren, Lindsay Patton (Andrew), Emily McNamara (Chris), Riley Lamb (Blair), Michael Maddox (Caitlin), Cabie Lamb and Lauren Beall (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Simon, Libby, Zoe McNamara, Jack, John Patton, Dillon, Ellie Maddox and Nora Lamb. He is also survived by his parents, their only child.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, an organization Bill generously supported for decades.
