With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne Simar Dewey (Lake Jackson, Texas), who passed away on September 2, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Emile Simar and Amy Fruge Simar; and her sisters, Frances Carol Simar and Polly Simar Bonin. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Dewey of Round Rock, TX, Anthony Dewey of Jennings Louisiana and John Dewey II (Lisa Dewey) of Lake Jackson, TX.; her grandson Lance Trenton Dewey of Lake Jackson, TX; and her siblings, Charles Simar (Patty) of Austin, TX, Michael Simar of Jennings Louisiana, Mark Simar of Jennings Louisiana, Kathleen Simar of St. Louis Missouri and Margaret Sonnier of Jennings Louisiana. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
