She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Jackson Ellis and Beulah Demarice Foley Ellis; and her former husband Marvin Earl Thompson. She is survived by: her husband William Ancil Copeland; her brothers, Happy Jack Ellis, Bo Ellis and James Ellis; her daughter Bonnie Dickey; her son-in-law David Dickey of Lake Jackson; her grandsons, Tracy Dickey (Lupe) of Rosenberg and Kevin Dickey (Vikki) of Brazoria; her great grandchildren, Colton Dickey (Makayla) of Centerville, Bradley Dickey and Shelby Dickey of West Columbia; and her brother Lawrence Ellis of Lake Jackson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
