She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Turner; her sons, Dexter J. Sargent, III, Donald E. Sargent and Kevin L. Sargent; her daughter-in-law Vicki Sargent; and her siblings, Thomas Odom and Irma Jane Benge.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel E. Sargent, Sr. (Jan) of Karnack, TX and Robin S. Turner of Brazoria, TX; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Sargent of Angleton, TX; and her sister Patti Avery (Bob) of Hampton, VA. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and numerous nieces and nephews.
