Sofe Martinez Mata Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sofe Martinez Mata in Lake Jackson, Texas, born in Laredo, Texas, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Martinez and Manuela Martinez; her husband Esteban; and her sons, Narciso, Ruben and Hector.

She is survived by: her children, Esteban, Juan Antonio, Javier Marcos, Maria Antonieta Quintanilla (Francisco Javier), Hilda Irene Trevino, Diana Buyo (Roger) and Laura Sinha (Anil); and her siblings, Francisco David, Jose Luis, Manuel Jr., Valdemar, Antonio, Maria, Roberto, Carlos and Raquel. She is also survived by her nineteen grandchildren; her forty-one great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
